Harness your expertise of the pelvic floor. Bring awareness and empowerment to a vital portion of our bodies that is classically misunderstood, silenced and shamed. Why work the pelvic floor? How do we assess if a pelvic floor is hypertonic? Hypotonic? What systemic experiences would either of those conditions cause?
Can YOU embody your pelvic floor?
Spend 2 days with Soma Institute instructor Denise Foster Scott for some experiential layered learning to support and clarify your touch skills on and around the pelvic floor while bringing you into a greater awareness  of your own body.
We will bring insight to the anatomy and physiology of the pelvis, working with trauma, communication and broaden the importance of pelvic diaphragm work. Through the lens of Structural Integration, we will explore structural analysis, pelvic floor treatment, and self-care all while awakening our own connection to what Dr. Ida Rolf called the “seat of your soul.”
